B8Shield™ - Snag prevention is a weedless lure protection designed for fishing in reeds, heavy vegetation, branches and rocks where traditional lures get snagged. Applying
- Place the opening on the shaft along the side of the lower part of the B8Shield diagonally across the eye on the hook's shaft.
- Gently press the B8Shield diagonally downward along the shaft of the hook as far as it will go until the top of the B8Shield is below the eye of the hook.
- Rotate the B8Shield so that the wings are positioned above the points of the hooks and the flaps at the bottom of the B8Shield lie straight along the bends of the hook.
- Carefully check that the B8Shield is securely attached to the hook by moving it from different angles.

B8Shield fits all standard treble hooks.
- Size 1/0 & 2/0 - width ? mm & length ? mm

- B8Shield size 4: width 8 mm, length 23 mm
- B8Shield size 6: width 6.5 mm, length 19 mm
Measure your hooks for optimal fit. Measure the width from the shaft out to one of the points on the hook and the length from the top of the eye to the bottom of the bend.
Use standard treble hooks (regular shank) with normal/longer shank, they are the most common treble hooks globally and work best with B8Shield.
